Giving Up 4 Song Demo March 2003

| We made 15 of these to be passed out for free at our first show. The only reason I linked to one of these songs is for laughs. We are not proud of this recording at all, but it's sometimes fun to look back at where you came from. To get a real idea of what we sound like now, please scroll to the bottom of the page and check out our later stuff. | |
| About "Giving Up": We hadn't decided on a band name yet and it was time to print the CD covers and make flyers for our first show. We took all the band names we could agree on and did an internet search to make sure no one had used them before. Unfortunately, all of the names we thought of had already been used. Someone said, "Screw it, I'm giving up!" We liked the ring of it, so we were "Giving Up" at our first show. Within days we decided it was actually a pretty bad name, so we changed it to Bury the Survivors after much, much more discussion and internet searches. |

Second Demo July 2003

| I don't remember much about this demo. I think we just re-recorded a few of the songs and made covers that reflected the new band name. We probably only made a handful and passed them out for free. | |

Self-Titled Album 2004

| This was out first non-live recording. It was recorded and mixed by Kylie before he was a part of the band. All of the songs are little slow, but all in all it came together fairly well. | |

| Our latest demo. Recorded by Kylie in 2 days, but never completely mixed and mastered. The vocals on the first two tracks are a result of a really bad cold and a sore throat. | |

| Our good friends at Voodoo Tattoo in Iowa City put out this comp to highlight some of the bands that got tattooed at their shop. Don't try calling them at that number anymore however, as they have since moved to Austin TX and opened Sideshow Tattoo. It's safe to say this is the only time we'll ever appear on a comp with Hawthorne Heights and From Autumn To Ashes! | |

| Our last CD. We decided that since we didn't have any CDs to sell at shows, we better put one together. So we grabbed a couple songs from the mythical 7", our favorite tracks from our first album, and the whole 2005 demo. This CD also marks our triumphant departure from B&W photocopied CD booklets and writing on the discs with sharpies. | |
